Possible to copy text from Word into Calendar?

If I'm using a document in Word that contains within the text, an itinerary,
is there an easy way to have all that information format and import into my
Outlook Calendar? Or do I have to actually enter all the information bit by
bit into the Outlook Calendar myself?

I am using Win XP, Word 2002, Outlook 2002 (Office 10 Environment).

Why not copy and paste? Otherwise, there is no automated method for doing
this.
