Possible to have accounts on frontpage?

I am looking at making a site which will involve users logging on to use
certain quizes, is it possible to create accounts with front page? Thankyou

Sorry I am new to this, Is that possible via the basic frontpage package? I
havnt bought the package yet and am going to start on it next week. Thanks

Will require a DB (to store quiz results) and server side scripting
- both depend on your host OS and what they support
