Possible to Install lite version of Office Enterprise programs?

Programs included Enterprise 2007 have MUCH more than I need.
Is it possible to "partially" install Word, Outlook etc basic features since
I don't need the 1001 tools and features of all the programs?

Office Suites are a collection of applications. Install the applications
you will use. If Word is all you need, then only install Word.

tks but sorry if I didn't express myself correctly. I realize that when
installing Office, one has the option of choosing which apps are to be
installed (or not).
But my question is if the app itself, Word 2007 for example, offers the
possibility of installing a streamlined version, say roughly equivalent to
the Word Processor in MS Works? Reason being that we have been using Word
2003 and use an estimated 20% (maximum) of the features, so I'm a little
apprehensive about confonting the 1001 features of Word 2007, most of which
we'll probably never use or need, and would like to be able to install, say
Word 2007 "Average User" option and leave a Word 2007 "Advanced User" option
for experts that need all kinds of the special features.
A Christmas dream?

I'll put it this way: Don't expect to see 'Lite' and Microsoft appearing together in an eHarmony ad.

Perhaps you may just use Wordpad, it came with the Windows operating
system, and you will find it in Accessories
