possible to limit cell to a single line of text?

Is it possible in Word 2002 to restrict a cell (being used in a form with a
field in the cell) to a single line of text? Right now we're intercepting
the enter key with a vba macro, but we wondered if there's a better way to
do this.

Yes, or at least to restrict it to displaying a single line of text. You can
also limit how much can be typed into a formfield. Restrict your table cell
and row, don't let them grow automatically.
