When Outlook is closed down there´s still 4 versions running. Taskman (as
well as System Information) list them all. PID 672, PID916, PID 1416, & PID
1488. Opening Outlook will add the fifth. All they occupy about 16000KB.
From the very first install (OFFICE2003) there was instantly errors. I got
no help from this site, I called Microsoft and from a technician I got some
common advice which did not help. I´ve reinstalled, defragged, Detect and
Repair, I´ve done anything in my power as an End User.
Recently I was forced to configurate once again and found a new version with
no connection to Personal Folders. Just now I´m running a useable version
but don´t know what to do with all the ghosts.
If only I had a chance to clear all those hidden files that control the
installer I should prefer to start all over once again as a last try before
I scratch the whole thing.
