Hello Folks.
Using Win XP and Pub 03.

In the middle of printing a poster (printing on 9 pages of A4), the ink
cartridge ran out after printing 5 pages.
What I am trying to do now is print the remaining 4 pages whitout having to
reprint the first 5 pages.

Your help is and always has been very much appreciated.
Thanking you in anticipation.

Try printing your poster to a PDF file (using PrimoPDF from
www.primopdf.com if you don't have a suitable program already
installed), and then printing the appropriate pages of the PDF file.

I don't know any good way of printing the last four pages. Take a look at print
preview, figure out which four pages need printing. Create white filled
rectangles to cover the five pages you already have printed (no line). You can
get an idea where to place the rectangle using the ruler. It might work.

Publisher has only allowed printing the first section of a poster or banner.
This has changed in 2007.

Hello Ed and Mary.

Many thanks once again for your help.

I have gone down the PDF route on this one, as the white filled rectangles
idea seemed to much like a trial and error thing. This would of been counter
productive in terms of time and waste of ink if the first time did not work.

I do very much appreciate help from all of you.

Ed was correct in his advise. My suggestion was really lame... Glad it all
worked out, Rick.
