Posting Order Question

In any other forum that I have frequented, as soon as anyone replies to a
post, it jumps to the top of the list. In this forum, it looks like the
original post date of the thread is what is used. Is there some setting
somewhere for this, or is this just the way it is.

Do yourself a BIG favour and ditch the horrible web interface. Use a news
reader instead.

This is not a forum, it’s a newsgroup we recommend you use a newsreader,
like outlook express (server name is msnews.microsoft.com) or the web
interface at Microsoft. If you want to use a forum that sorts by the
newest post to access these groups, see http://www.outlookforums.com/.

NNTP posting does not work the same as HTTP posting (i.e., "newsgroups", of
which this is one, do not work the same as web "forums"). Using an HTTP
client (i.e., "web browser") does not change the "Way Things Work".

That is just the way it is.
