Posting to this group - Microsoft error ?

Why am I getting this error message as an email feedback when posting
to this group?

"Sorry, you are not authorized to post messages to this list
Reason ([email protected] is not a member of the list)

Just another MS programming bug ? :)

No. MS likely has nothing to do with it. It is whatever you are using to
make the post.

Use a newsreader like Outlook Express and connect to
"msnews.microsoft.com",...subscribe to the group you want,...and you
shouldn't have any more problems.

Odd, I've been using Forte Agent to post to various groups including
MS groups for years. Never had the problem before so it can't be the
client software. Perhaps there's something odd in the way the
local newserver is carrying it as it is acting as a moderated group. I
will have to check that out.

I'll also try connecting direct to the MS news server. OE is really a
poor news client though - I don't think I can resort to using that :)

So post directly to the MS server using Forte Agent. I know many other who
do that.
