Postmarking

I am a longtime user of Outlook and now have 2007 with Vista. When I send a
single message the status bar says "Sending Message 2 of 2" or words to that
effect. Is that because I have postmarking turned on? If not, how do I get
it to show the correct number?

I downloaded the file and extracted it as instructed but, when I tried to run
it, I got the message "MDBVU32.EXE is not a valid Win32 application." Hmmm.

OL2007 has a defect. Do you have more than 1 e-mail account defined?
Are there perhaps 2 e-mail accounts defined in Outlook? If so, the
sending count reflects the number of accounts in addition to the number
of messages. OL2007 adds N-1 (where N = number of accounts) to the
number of messages to send.

My guess is you have 2 e-mail accounts defined, so N-1 = 1. You then
send 1 e-mail. So the sending count becomes 1 + (N-1) = 1 + 1 = 2.
