posts going to wrong folder

I have posts going into the wrong folder.
A little while back I created a folder named "LinkedIn" for messages
from LinkedIn. I created a rule to move messages from LinkedIn to be
moved to that folder. I then noticed that all of my mail was being
sent there as well. I first removed the rule and that didn't fix the
problem. I then deleted the folder and when I received a test message
the folder was created and the message was moved there. Can anyone
tell me what the problem might be and how to fix it.

thanks for your help

Where is the rule in your heirarchy? Do you have "stop processing more
rules" appended to the rule for linkedin?

Milly,

I finally fixed the problem. I deleted the rule and the folder and
restarted outlook.

thanks for the help
