Power Point 2003

When running a PPt 2003 presentation into a data projector, every few minutes
a message appears about 'Sticky Keys'. Whatever I do with the message it
reappears a few minutes later
I would like to know how to turn these messages off so they do not appear
within a presentation.
My laptop is running Windows XP Home Edition. The problem only appears when
the data projector is connected. Simply viewing the presentation on the
laptop has no problems.

Marconi,

The message about "sticky keys" can appear when you press the "shift key"
five times (or I always thought if you hold down the shift key for a long
time).....

so perhaps your projector remote is signalling a shift key press somehow?

You can turn off the sticky keys option by using
control panel > accessibility options

cheers

I have found the solution to the problem.
Before launching Power Point I pressed the shift key 5 times and a dialogue
box appeared about sticky keys. In the box there was a 'settings' faciliity.
Clicking on this allowed me to uncheck all the boxes that were revealed. Then
apply and OK.
The result is that I can run PPt on the data projector without any annoying
boxes appearing in mid flow.
With thanks to Taj for putting me on the right track.
