power point as screen saver

Dear Folks,
Can i set my .pps file as screen saver. i was not able to do that. so i
converted each of the slides into .bmp images and had it in folder to run the
pictures slide show.

the problem is that i have my pictures named from A,B,C ...F. i want the
pictures to be shown in their alphabetic order.
but it is using some random selection and the slide show is on.

how can i get the pictures shown in order i want.
