Some pictures do not appear in Slide Show

I have built a PPT Photo Album - 250 slides, mostly pictures. All the
pictures can be viewed in Norma View. But in Slide Show, from some point
(not always the same point) I get only a blank white screen.

I've tried that with no luck. I'm using PP2003 and "Use hardware graphics
acceleration" is not checked.

I'll download the album to CD and try it in another computer.

I've had a look; discovered that my adapter is ATI Radeon Xpress 1200 series;
and let Windows install update software. Apart from that, I got the message
on screen that I could not change properties. I also found a reference to
available graphics memory of 319mb. The PP file is 420mb. Does that matter?

I also saved the PP file to a CD and tried it in my laptop. That worked
fine, so I tried the CD in my desktop. It worked there too! But it still
misbehaves if I use the original file.

I'm stumped.

Hi Martin

As John says, that's a very big file and I would imagine that is the cause
of the issue. Have you tried the native compression tool in PowerPoint?

Lucy,

I've been away, not ignoring you. I reduced the resolution on my pictures
and it worked.

Thank you for your help.

John,

Thank you for your help. Reducing the resolution seems to have done the job.
