power point can't open because part of the file missing

i can't open a file from power point 2003 application..
the problem is, i used to move a file from power point 2003 to power point
2000 it can be open..but when it come into reversed way..i cant' open a file
with error message of power point can't open the file because part of the
file missing

Have you installed Service Pack 1 for Office 2003? If not that would be my
first step.

And if Service Pack 1 is installed, the next question would be, "Did you save
the presentation to a floppy disk from PowerPoint 2000?" That can cause an
incomplete save and result in the message that you are receiving.
