What is the file size?
Is the presentation full of pictures?
How are you saving your presentation? If this is the case,and your saving as
being backward compatible with PowerPoint 95. this will give you a large file,
as there was no compression in 95 Just save as a presentation, and it will be
readable by all versions 97-2003. while your at it, turn off "Fast Saves" it
also has a tendency to give you large files amongst other things.

I have completed my power point brief but the file size is so large that is
difficult to open or close. Also size limitations on email prohibit it from
being sent via email. Is there a easy method to reduce file size without
deleting slides?
