Power Point Font and Back Ground Color??

I have Micro Soft office student teacher eddition 2003

FOr some reason it will not allow me to change colors in the font or the
pannel

Its not even displaying that i have any colors to choose from.

Is this standard with the 2003 power point program in the student teach
eddition?

What steps do you take to try and change the colors? Is the drawing toolbar
turned on? Try View, Toolbars and make sure Drawing is checked.

I just checked and drawing was checked i dont know whats wrong with this thing

You might try clicking on Help, Detect and Repair. Won't hurt and might
help. Also check the microsoft site for updates:

You have to have something selected to be able to change the color.

For text, you need to have a placeholder ("click here to add text") or a
textbox or an autoshape selected. If you have, for instance, a line
selected, the font color options will not be available because you can't add
text to a line.

Not sure what you mean by "the pannel," but again, you need to have
something selected.
