Power Point Hanging

I imported a few .ppt presentations this week. They
seemed to run fine. I can open Powerpoint or any .ppt
file, but Powerpoint immediately hangs. I can edit
slides and move from slide to slide, but I can rarely do
anything that involves the command bar at the top of the
screen such as File, Format, View, etc. It doesn't
matter if I open through the program or through a file.
After a few minutes, I might be able to save or close,
but often I have to close through Task Manager. My other
Office programs are working fine.

I tried changing the registry subkey, but that did
nothing.

Any suggestions?

Not sure what registry subkey you changed, but you might try the stuff
