What B said. Unless you turn the projector/monitor sideways, there's really
no point.

If your display is landscape, making a slide portrait only makes it look
narrow and tall within the landscape display device.

Kinda like widescreen movies on a regular TV.

But there are workarounds for this on the multiple masters page of my
site. URL's in signature.
