Power Point to Word

I have power point text and I do not want to retype it
onto MS Word 97
Trying to send Power Point file to 1.PPT to MS Word.
I need text and slides from PP to a Word file.
When I open with or transfer it is all scrambled
I have Word 97 and PP 97

Try using File/Send to/Word. Does that do the trick for you?
