power point use my own photo for background

How do you use your own photo/image as the background in a power point
presentation? If none of the templates are appropriate for your
presentation. Any ideas.

One way is to open a blank presentation and go to View > Master > Slide Master
and then to Format > Background > Fill Effects > Picture. Then while in that
view, save the file as a design template (*.POT) so that you can reuse it. Then
return to View > Normal and create your presentation.
