PowerPoint 2000 found an error that it can't correct. You should save

Hello I have installed Office 2000 three times on my
computer and each I do it, I receive the following
error.. "PowerPoint found an error that it can't correct.
You should save presentations, exit, and then restart
PowerPoint." My Operating system is windows 98. Does
anybody know what is wrong?
