PowerPoint 2000 links to mov break

[NewPPtUser]

Working on a PC the inital link to mov works, the mov will start up in
QuickTime player and play in a separate window. We then save (and tried save
as) presentation/close/reopen and link is gone.

mov is in the folder with the PPt presentation

PPt. show is 20.3MB
mov is 213MB
Could it be a size issue?
