Powerpoint 2000 won't open in 2003

Title says it all really, a client is trying to open powerpoint 2000 files on
powerpoint 2003 but is unable to open them, any help would be appreciated.

Have the client go to Help/Check for Updates and install SP-1 for Office
2003.
