PowerPoint 2002 vs Office 2003

I have the opportunity to get Office 2003.
Is there that much difference between PowerPoint 2002 and 2003?
Any special effects that will make that big of a difference?

Hi jack,

There are some new features and improvements, although I don't know if you
would term them "special effects". Most of the changes are listed here:

There are no new animations or transitions.
