I'm having problems recording a Powerpoint 2003 narration. All sound
recordings in Powerpoint, whether done with "record narration" or
"record sound" end up with serious background noise. Other recording
applications - like Windows Sound Recorder and Guitar Tracks Pro - allow
recording voice with extreme clarity, but Powerpoint is horrible! I'm using
Insert Object > Wave Sound as a workaround, but it's not ideal.
One more thing: when I go Record Narration > Set Microphone Level I get a
Visual C++ runtime error attributed to powerpnt.exe. Tried reinstalling PPT
but no change.
Any suggestions? I'm using an M-Audio Delta 66 interface with Behringer
Eurorack UB802.
