Powerpoint 2003 backward compatability

Can a presentation created in Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 be
seen (able to run) in earlyer versions of PowerPoint?

Run? Yes. Run the way you designed it with all animations, etc.? Only in
PowerPoint 2002 and the PowerPoint 2003 Viewer.

A quick test of a PowerPoint 2003 file going back to PowerPoint 2002
(OfficeXP) works fine. There are likely new features in 2003 that don't
exist in 2002. Not sure how (or if) those will map. At least the basic
feature set does seem to be backward compatible.
