Hi,

[PowerPoint 2003 SP2 with all Updates applied]

I have paste some Images (I think WMF) from other PPTs
into mine. On one machine I see those images regularly, but
on my home PC I do not see those images. I see only the
placeholders for those images with X mark (like in browsers).

What culd be the reason for that?

Both PC's have Office 2003.

Ah, this one is hard to resolve. Here's what we know about
the problem:
RED X instead of graphics

Just to thank you about the useful link. Now I know that I'm
not alone.

From what I've read, my case may be connected to this:
Never save to/open from diskettes or other removable
media, [etc...]

I've developed my PPT opening/saving from the USB drive with
frequent savings (that's my style). The funny thing is that I still can
open it from my office PC but I cannot from my home PC.

P.S.
The question that stay open is: Why such issues always happens to
me myself?

heheh. That I can't answer -- but on your home computer, go to Help | Check
for Updates and make sure you've installed the latest service pack for
Office 2003. (Assuming you're using 2003 on your home computer, that is.)

Also, try dragging the file to your harddrive and opening it from there, not
from the USB drive.
