PowerPoint 2003 hangs when saving or opening any powerpoint file,

I was not able to cut and paste the information from the .crv file, but was
from the initial error screen that continues to pop up.

I'm not sure if this means anything to anyone, but I'm sure hoping to get
this resolved ASAP.
