PowerPoint 2003 Presentation Broadcasting

J

Jonathan Tregear

Hi,

I'm not sure this is the right place to post this, but I
can't find a better place within the managed newsgroups.

The PowerPoint 2003 help files state that the PowerPoint
Presentation Broadcasting feature is available at the
Office Online website. I've looked all over that site for
it and can't find. I've also downloaded the Office 2003
Resource Kit and it isn't there either as far as I can
tell.

Does anyone know where to find this or if it is available
yet?

Thanks,

Jonathan Tregear

Jonathan,
I think you're looking for this link.

Here's a link for a bunch of articles that apply to this.

Let me know if this does the trick.

Stephen,

Thanks for the help, but the Producer multicast add-in is
not what I am looking for. In the new version of Office
2003 there is a feature called presentation broadcasting.
It is part of PowerPoint itself. It is described at the
following url:

http://office.microsoft.com/assistance/preview.aspx?
AssetID=HP052411931033&CTT=1&Origin=EC790000701033&QueryID
=USA4kNgnc&Query=broadcast&Scope=HP%2cHA%2cRC%2cFX

The ability to use this feature requires that it be
downloaded from the Office Online website as described
here:

http://office.microsoft.com/assistance/preview.aspx?
AssetID=HP010392231033&CTT=1&Origin=EC790000701033&QueryID
=USA4kNgnc&Query=broadcast&Scope=HP%2cHA%2cRC%2cFX

However, no link is provided and a search of the Office
Online website doesn't locate it.

Thanks again for your help,

Jon

Jonathan,
I've been in touch with the PowerPoint Team on this matter. Apparently
the link to the addin is not schedule to be available until the Office 2003
street date, which is October 21st. I'm working with them to see if they
can
get it to me so I can get it to you earlier.

I'm Sorry about this inconvienence. I'm hoping to have more on this by the
later part of Friday Morning, and will post what I find before noon
tomorrow.

Jonathan,
Here's the link you were looking for. Thanks for brining that to our

This is another one of those cases where Newsgroup questions really pay off.
