When starting PPT 2007 an error message opens: "Powerpoint can't load the
add-in" but it doesn't name the add-in. Anyone have this problem and a fix?

Thank you. However, There is no access to the inactive add-ins. Just a list
of them. ...

Thank you. I ran the utility and noticed it didn't list things for ppt
2007...just older versions.

The "Inactive Application Add-ins" are:
1. Custom XML Data
2. Invisible On-Slide Content
3. Off-Slide Content
4. Presentation Notes

There is no place to actually interact with these non-functional add ins.
They are just listed, but you cannot seem to access them.

thanks for the help...

Hello Steve, Thanks for the info...I looked at the registry.
A. Under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\PowerPoint\AddIns

There are the (as far as I know) functioning Add-ins. These are all in
folders with the following files:
1: folder: DVZPPTAddin (A dataViz addin I believe for Documents to Go)
files: (Default); AutoLoad; Path
2: folder: HOW (Hand Out Wizzard's addin to create hand outs for classrooms)
files: (Default); AutoLoad; Path
3. mspan (I don't know what this folder is...)
files (Default); AutoLoad; Path

Under: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\PowerPoint\AddIns
There is one folder: DLL Addins with one file: (Default)

I didn't see anything useful there....do you?
thanks friend...
