Powerpoint 2007 rasterizes wmf for animation - result is ugly

Is there any option to stop Powerpoint rasterization of wmf? I'm thinking of
changing to Flash if it wasn't too difficult to build presentation (but at
least they wouldn't be ugly).

Try this: insert (drag and drop) a jpg picture. Then drag and drop some emf
(or wmf) pictures. Then apply some custom animations to them (like
emphasis/entrance) or a plain moving path will do it. After that insert more
emf's. The new vector images would be rasterized by default.

and how did you insert the WMF?

Drag and drop.

Powerpoint also rasterizes images copied from infopath, even though they
might be kept as vector images in infopath!!

Can somebody tell me how to stop powerpoint automatic rasterization?

Well, I can't really repro this -- I guess the images I'm using aren't very
good ones to display this issue. Do you have some image files (JPGs and
EMFs) that will help me repro this? If so, please email them to echos at
indy dot net.
