From memory, adapt your slide master to your liking, then Office button -
choose save - in the save as dialog choose PowerPoint template in the save
as list. Your template will be saved in the templates folder.
To apply your own design, Office button, New - on the left choose
My templates - in the new presentation dialog select your template - click
OK.
