PowerPoint 97 and Windows 2000 Compatibility

I have just upgraded to Windows 2000 and I noticed that I
no longer have access to the Word 97, Excel 97, and
PowerPoint 97 applications that were on my Windows 98
system. Are there W2K patches/upgrades for the older
generation applications or do I have to get new versions?

You'll have to install Office 97. The PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
applications are not part of Windows. Windows is your operating system.
It's possible that Office 97 was pre-installed by the manufacturer of your
system when you purchased it. Some manufacturers provide the source CD's
and some do not.

In addition to Sonia's thoughts, did you install Windows 2000 to a new
partition or upgraded over Windows 98?
