Powerpoint 97 - How to open link without warning?

I have set up a powerpoint show with a link that opens up a movie file.
However, when you click the link it pops up a 'do you want to open this
file, it may contain viruses etc etc' type warning.
I have looked through all the options I can find to try and turn this off
with no luck.
If I open the movie file through explorer it just opens and plays with no
warnings, so it seems it is Powerpoint that generates the warning.

I am running Windows XP.

How did you link to the movie file, Andrew?

Have you tried just doing Insert > Movies and Sounds > Movie from File?
