Powerpoint advances automatically

My Powerpoint presentations will sometimes advance slides
automatically without any mouse clicks. What causes this
and how can I get it to stop?

Each slide has a "slide transition" setting. It can be on mouse click (default)
or it can be automatic after XX seconds, or it can be both. Go to Slide Show >
Slide Transition to see what it's set for.

Kitty....

What Sonia said...but also...

If you are using a laptop / notebook with a touchpad.... It has been know for these to trigger a mouse click without
them barely being touched
