PowerPoint and Projector

I did a PowerPoint presentation on a desktop computer at our business, and we
use a projector to show the presentation. Well when I click the Icon to "Play
Slideshow", so I can view it on the projector screen, well on there it shows
all the slides and the seconds below it, (how long I want the slide to stay
on), but on my screen it shows the one slide, and then it goes to the next.
On the projector screen it looks like a modifying page? I have no clue what
is going on, or how to fix this?

It sounds as though you have the presentation in Presenter view but the
monitors
are swapped round so you're getting the slide show on your monitor and the
view
you (the presenter) should be seeing is appearing on the projector
instead.

For starters, use Slide Show, Setup Show and turn presenter view off, then
try
the show again.

And to continue Steve's response, if you like the presenter view but just
want to switch the monitor and projector's view go to the Slide Show, Setup
show and where it says Multiple Monitors select the dropdown and choose the
other monitor than what is displayed.
