Wondering if there is a way to create your own
autolayouts. I haven't found any info one way or the
other. What we would like to have happen is when some
selects new slide our own custom slides will appear in the
auto layout window. Any thoughts?

No. It's not possible to add new autolayouts.

Not possible, I'm afraid.

An add-in could automatically add new slides and adjust the positions of the
shapes on them, but you can't create new layouts.

Afraid not. I don't know of any.
