message - "Powerpoint can't read" when I try topen a .ppt
file. However, I am able to open the file using
powerpoint 2002. Any inputs why the file is not opeining
with powerpoint 2003. And this is fhappening with only
few files.

Appreciate your inputs.

Thanks

Hi Ritesh,

It is possible that you are running into a know OfficeArt (Microsoft Office
Drawing Objects) issue which can occur when a file saved in Office 97 or
Office 2000 is opened up in Office 2003 (PowerPoint, Word or Excel).

Please check the information in the Microsoft knowledgebase:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;828041

Let us know if this resolves your problem.

Thanks,

John Langhans
