PowerPoint Change Dot to Ink Pen in show mode

In earlier versions of powerpoint, in the show mode, the ink pen was a
wonderful ink pen, in the 2003 version it is a tiny dot. This dot is very
small and two hard to see on the screen and can not be used for pointing.
How do I change the dot back to the good old pen we had in the past.

The felt-tipped pen is closer to the old ink pen. You might try it.
