Powerpoint charts

I've got a very annoying problem with charts in PowerPoint, bar charts in
particular.

The boxes in the legend are just too small.
I know you can increase them by increasing the font size
but to get them to the size I want the font has to be far too big.

Is there a way of either scaling the boxes (I'm pretty certain you can't),
or disassociating the boxes from the font size?

This is essentially a print problem, I need to use either textures or
patterns to distinguish
different bars when printed black and white. The legend boxes are just too
small to see
the different patterns.

I could of course draw the boxes separately but this creates a new problem.

Thanks

Yes I suspect it's not doable.

Can't see the sense in having such small boxes for the legend or at the
very least they should be resizable.

Thanks

Andy
