Powerpoint commentary

In recording my commentary using Powerpoint, I am having a very difficult
time with the next slide transitioning before the audio is finished thereby
cutting it short. I have tried adjusting the transition time manually, but
it still cuts the audio short and jumps to the next slide. Any suggestions
on how to get the slide to stay up for more time?

In Slide Transiton, click on the object representing the audio you'd like to
play, and have it end by a the next slide number. Also slides can be timed to
progress within a specific time that you can control. Up to nearly any
reasonable time you can think. Click off "on mouse click" and Click on
"Automatically after" and specify your time. I'd try to coordinate both
together. If the rest of your slides within the presentation are timed you
can change that one slide.
