PowerPoint Displays and Editing - concurrently

Hi,

We are running PP as a messaging service for a retirement home. We
want to be able to edit the file while it is being displayed. We call
this "offline editing". This way, our residents just see the
presentation and changes are made seamlessly. The user can just
reload the updated file when he is finished editing.

Am I being clear enough here?

Is this possible? Thanks.

Have you thought about putting a text box control on the slide and using
that?
