PowerPoint does not play on my windows xp

Hello,
Ignorant computer user here, someone sent me a PowerPoint presentation to
read, I cannot access it. I have tried different programmes already on this
computer which is about 4.5 years old, is it possible please? Can I get a
download somewhere? I looked at the MSN information page on PowerPoint but
it's not clear to me. Thanks

Dear David,
thank you so much for the link. After I posted the question, I did go back
and have another search and found a download which worked. But it could so
easily have not been the case, this is not my forte. Thank you very much for
your help.
