powerpoint extension .pcb

Help! We didn't save the powerpoint presentation onto the hard drive... I know....(sigh) and the disk is corrupted, can it get worse? I found a "copy"? of it on my hard drive with the extension.pcb. I can't open it with Powerpoint, I tried to rename it a new extension but that didn't work. Any ideas of how I can recover this presentation? I've looked in temporary files but couldn't find anything, it appears that this file is closest to real thing. Any suggestions will be appreciated!
