powerpoint file not reponding

Hello out there...I have a problem with a ppt file that is quite large
and has alot of diagrams and graphs embedded. When I open this file on
my machine, it will get to slide 23 of 46 and hang there. As soon as I
try to scroll up or down, it freezes up and locks up the processor at
100%. Also, when you go into task manager it shows a second copy of
this file open and both are "not responding". The odd thing about this
one is another person can open this file and print it, no problems.
Could this be a bad profile? Thanks for any help provided.

What's on slide 23?
What's on slide 24?
Which version of PPT?
If you reboot your computer and try again, does it lock? The reason

I'm asking this last question because it sounds as if you have two
instances of PPT running. That's often because you've started PPT and
closed it (or at least *think* you've closed it), but it's still
running in the background for some reason. If you reboot, you should
have only one instance running, and that might just resolve the issue.
And if it does, then our task is to figure out why PPT's not closing
down properly. In that case, my money's on an add-in of some sort.
