I am looking for a way to add borders to each letter in a powerpoint
presentation.This can be done in a free program called "Open Song"

PPT doesn't have font outlining capability. You would have to use Word Art
or create the text in something where you can outline fonts and copy/paste
it into PPT (or save as image and insert that image into PPT).
