I'm in the process of interpreting client templates, set
up in a DTP package, into PowerPoint97.
The margins, gutters and grid have been agreed with the
client.
When positioning objects onto an A4 slide I have the
following problems...
1) Setting a grid using the guides (Ctrl+Shift from left
side of slide) gives a correct measurement on screen, but
printed pages do not reflect the correct positions (tried
with and without scale to fit. Also tried default A4 and
custom sizes)
2) Using Format | Object | Position tab and entering the
position from top left corner gives a totally different
position to that given by the guides
Is there still MS support for PPT97 based in the UK? The
UK Tech Support phone number provided in the help menu is
a dead line.
