Powerpoint - How do I fade old text when new text is displayed

Hi,

This depends on your PowerPoint version. With 2002/ 2003 and 2007, you can
do an exit animation.

As Glen says but you may mean the DIM command which you will see if you
double click the text entry in custom animation and choose the effect tab
