Powerpoint Incorrectly Displays Charts in Extended 2048x768 Deskto

Hi: I am using two (2) Dell 19" monitors driven by a DELL Latitude D600. I
connect to a splitter to connect to the two monitors (Matrox DualHead2Go).
The Display Screen Resolution (to get the extened Desktop) must be set to
2068 x 768 (or a lower one for those with good eyes).
However, this causes the labels on PowerPoint Charts and graphs to display
improperly. The font squishes together and looks awful. It will also print
wrong WYSIWYG). I have to reset to 1024x768 to work in Powerpoint.
Is there a fix for this, i.e. using the 2068x768 without the PowerPoint
Graphs and charts' font getting screwed up? I am running no software.
thanks
