PowerPoint Mobile Issue

Not sure to whom this should be directed but I have a SmartPhone with Windows
Mobile 6.1. PowerPoint Mobile installed. Not sure which version but the
phone is new. To test the app I emailed a PowerPoint 2003 file which I
thought would be optimized for Windows apps. Clicking on the attachment
which was mailed to a Windows Live account does not launch the powerpoint
file. Instead, blank squares appear where slides should. I see no way to
'show picture'. Searching for guidance.

Not sure if this will help, but there is info here on what isn't supported
(such as password protected files):

I would also try saving it rather than just clicking the attachment. But
then I've never actually used a windows mobile device so could be talking a
lot of rubbish...

Ahhh, managed to find the windows mobile community. Search/ask over there
for better informed advice ;-)
